    Hi.

In Andrew Kramers suicide movie, when a guy blow up his head, you start off by motion tracking him. I want to know if i have 2 persons in my clip and I want their heads blown up, first the one and the other a couple off seconds later but after the camera turns around. So I guess I have to track them seperately due to the camera turn, is is possible to just motion track a couple off seconds or do i have to track the hole clip? Maybe take a piece out in premier pro edit that and then other clip? Or how do I approch this effect?

    Please advice.

    Regards Hamid

You can do any of the options you mentioned. I guess we kinda figured you would try them and find out; I mean, it’s not like you’ll break anything by trying to motion track only a few seconds of a layer.

You can motion track any portion of a layer you want.
You can use only a portion of a video if you want.

Read the AE help file on motion tracking, it will benefit you.
