  After Effects (Particles and music)

  I would like to know how to make particles move to music. I do not want to us a plugin like trapcode. If anyone knows how to make particles bounce to audio with the standard After Effects package that would be of great help. Thanks!

  You might try searching expressions and scripts … not really basics territory, but the only way I can think of without plugins.
