Expect stories of another major European broadcast operation “going X.”
I’ll leave it for the involved parties to make the posts.
    And the beat goes on!

Not to make this an anti-Adobe post, but could this partially be a backlash against the subscription model? I wonder if that runs afoul of regulations in certain areas? I don’t know, just wondering aloud.

Not in this case at all. As I understand it, the story will be about a large European Network having gone through an extensive technical and engineering trial comparing systems of modern collaborative production on an enterprise scale and choosing X because its scores appear to have soundly beat everything else. Nothing to do with the business model stuff at all.

I can confirm there is a rather big story coming soon, and actually there will be more than one. I think the first quarter of 2016 will be quite interesting for anyone who uses FCP X in high-end workflows. Now I’m taking a break for the holidays and then I’m off to Spain where I will start writing the articles while we shoot a commercial. A very merry X-mas and a happy New Year to you all!
