  Cauldron-y black smoke

  I need to make some slow, low to the ground, whispy black smoke.. Like you see in a cauldron, similar to this (not as thick):

  Is there a way to do that in AE, or a plugin for AE?

  Sorry to bump and old threat without a solution but i am also looking for an effect like this, mine is for a use very similar to voldemorte’s cloak (end graveyard scene, harry potter & golblet of fire) when all the death eaters fly down from the sky, very much like dry ice. but black smoke, Ive tried fumeFX but the render time is absoloutly ridiculous and there isnt even a half-decent tutorial on how to create such an effect..

  Anyone found something that works or looks good? preferably in AE
