    Best takeaway: (Paraphrasing here) “You can’t draw if you don’t have anything in your head to inspire you.. and that inspiration comes from life”.

    I’m always telling our younger editors to use some of their free time to go to a museum, to read a book, see a concert, take a trip. You can’t be creative if you don’t have something to draw from. And… when I hear of people working stupidly long days, I wonder where their ideas are coming from. Fatigue does NOT help the creative process. But that’s a discussion for another thread.
