Using CS4, doing HD. I’m noticing that the timing when I do RAM preview is not that same as my final rendered MOV. Anyone else run across this, and is there a fix? Using ProRes clips and large JPEGS, so I can see why it would be sluggish – but once rendered in RAM, I would think the audio would stay in sync with the picture in the same way as the final file.

    Thx

“Try this trick: reduce the comp window’s size to 50% (you’ll find the adjustment at the bottom of the comp window), and reduce the comp’s resolution to Half (again, it’s at the bottom of the window). Then try a RAM Preview and see what happens.”

Yep, tried all that, plus fiddling with memory settings, closing all other apps., etc. I’m using a MacPro, so I have as much suds as are available computer-wise.

So when doing HD, you render out clips to see what you have?
