I have some HD footage — DVCPRO HD 720p60 (960×720) — that I am editing in a FCP 23.98 timeline.
The video is for the web, and I want to do some zooms/moves on a couple of shots.
I put the HD footage into a DV NTSC timeline — 720×480 DV NTSV 3:2, pixel aspect ratio 960×720,
compressor Pro Res, time base 23.98. All is good so far.
I want to do the zooms/moves in AE for the “Easy Easy” effect.
So I import the orginal HD footage into AE and do my moves.
But when I bring this footage back into my FCP DV timeline, it looks bad — soft, blurry.
I think it is because I am not using the correct Comp Settings and/or Interpret Footage Settings.
I tried a bunch of different combinations, but nothing is working. Help! Thanks.
