  • help with adding a font

I need to have a font that a client wants and it isn’t in CS3. I need to load monotype corsiva. I have tried to add fonts for photoshop, but haven’t had success. I am using a photoshop tutorial and it said to paste fonts in the font folder of the library.

Anyway, I don’t want to do it wrong with AE.

Any suggestions, and can I search a my mac for monotype corsiva?

After Effects looks in a couple of places for fonts, including (on Mac OS) Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts .

Be sure that no applications are running when you install your fonts.

(See the “Fonts” section of After Effects Help for more information.)
