    Hi,
I’m a relative newbie, am doing a 2d cartoon project using both flash and ae. I have one scene where a character is smoking a cigarette and I’d like to show him encased in billows of smoke that ultimately dissolve revealing what he looks like.
I’ve played a bit with fractal noise and the look of the smoke I create in it (using a solid layer, dynamic twist & spline) is exactly the smoke look I want. But how do I animate it–so the smoke looks like it’s moving around (I’ve played with the opacity and it works great in creating the dissolve to reveal the character.)
    Thanks

In case anyone’s having the same problem, I figured it out: just experiment with the evolution in fractal noise and it works!
