  funny colorful screen and unscrollable bars

  Hi
  I imported photoshop layers into AF and for some reason I see a funny striped colorful screen? it says the file name on it? Is something missing? but i checked that. I dont get it.

  Also i cant seem to scroll the timeline bar where u can move the footage around u know those long bars in the timeline? its not scrolling to place it in the time frame i want?

  To your first question, the “funny colorful screen” is called color bars and it’s what AE shows to indicate missing footage/files. That generally means you’ve moved files from where they were the last time you saved your AE project … just double click one of them in the project panel and select that file on your hard dive to relink them.

  Sorry, but I don’t really understand your second question.
