Trapcode interface problem!
This isnt a question i just really need to vent, and want to see if other people have the same problem. Im a motion graphics designer and rarely does a project go by without using any Trapcode, especially particular…love em. But ive gotten to the point that ive just given up using their interface, like setting color over life and their boxes like that. I dont know if its because im using a WACOM tablet or what but its a constant struggle just trying to get the color wheel up. Ill dbl-click the color box and it just disappears or moves all the way to the right (if on the left), but aside from even that almost NONE of the color or “over life graphs” presets on the right EVER work. I could sit there all day clicking on them and i get nothing…the wacom mouse is more likely to work than the pen but both of them are a struggle when trying to fine tune particular. And while im at it i think trapcodes next move should DEF be a better graph editor, instead of a TINY freehand one. Id kill to be able to zoom in and draw some Bezier curves. So thats it…
i just happen to be working on a project now that im making A LOT of very intense particular strokes (not really intense but is taking a lot of color and size over life fine tuning) and its just getting really frustrating spending some much time just trying to tune the color and size because different things or nothing is happening when i click where i need. So just needed to get that out,and was hopin maybe someone else has had the same problem and found a solution…and hopefully trapcode is aware of this and has plans to improve.
