  Render alpha channel?

  In AE 7, how do you render out just the alpha channel from footage where it is included (QT animation codec).

  I can display the alpha channel, but when I render it out it re-renders the image, not the alpha channel.

  I know it’s gotta be something simple I’m missing. 🙂

  Sigh… I found it. When I render out my video, under the output module settings I select Alpha instead of RGB. I knew I was missing something simple.
