i am trying to learn more about the speed and value graphs. could someone point me to a tutorial or somewhere to get some information about using these graphs. I have little experience using them but am trying to get a fuller understanding of what is going on there. I have been reading on adobe live docs.

I would like to be able to animate a camera to dolly is slowly and then speed up quickly and smoothly?

Not sure about any tutorials, but you should be able to achieve what you want by checking the graph switch for the camera’s position property in the timeline panel, then hitting the main graph button at the top of the same panel. Click on one of the keyframes in the graph that appears and drag the handles (the lines that stick out of it) so that the curve eases in over time.

You could also do this automatically by unchecking the graph view, selecting the first keyframe and hitting F9 to make it easy-ease.
