  increase memory aecs3 on pc

  I just installed 4 gb of memory in my pc. How do I allocate more memory for after effects. It still shows up 2gb of memory available.

  I noticed that when I check my cpi system it say I only have 3.24gb but when I do a diagnostic it says I have 4gb. Is this an XP thing? Can you only use 3.24 gb of ram or is something wrong with my memory sticks?

  This is a XP bug and what is known as a memory hole, XPSP3 RC1 sorts this out….. or dare I say get 64bit Vista 🙂
