Why I stick around here
It’s not for new about FXP(EX). I’m reasonably sure it will become a decent NLE in about 2 to 3 years but at the moment its use is clearly limited and of absolutely no interest to me other than as a marketing. and sociological, curiosity. The features such as keywording that its touters tout I have already in a more powerful form (I simultaneously database my material on break down, in software that’s far more powerful.)
And it’s not for news about Mac hardware as I’m PeeCee and prefer to roll my own with more power and less moolah.
Rather it’s that you guys are an interesting melange that never ceases to both inform and entertain me….the latter, I confess, is clearly not the intention of many of you, so please forgive me if I smile at your geekish devotion to all things Mac-ish. I do hope you get your souped up Mac Pro but if you don’t…well, the computer world is big and full of wonders that don’t have a half-eaten Apple on them.
