“Edit fluidly with improved interface, powerful training features”
There’s an ad for Premiere Pro CS6 that shows up on the right side of the screen from time to time that has this phrase on it, and it’s a bit confusing to me. Powerful training features? I didn’t see anything about training features on Adobe’s Premiere Pro page.
I was just thinking, maybe “training” was actually supposed to be “trimming”- because that would make a whole HECK of a lot more sense…

In Premiere 6.0 one needs to be trained to trim. The trimming is that powerful 🙂

Or is it possible that they were obliquely referring to the ton of training videos on the tv.adobe.com website. I know…if so, it was lamely stated. Just a thought…

More than likely as the heading for the ad is “When editing meets Zen”. Zen would be gaining enlightenment so knowledge or training would makes sense.
As far as “Profomance” that’s sloppy.

I dunno- just because you need to be trained on how to use something doesn’t necessarily make it more powerful- I mean, if Apple released a souped-up version of iMovie to replace Final cut, switching to it from FCP7 would definitely require a lot of re-training. But that alone wouldn’t make it an improvement over its predecessor… 😉

I can’t imagine that Apple would ever do that.
But if they did, I’m sure a few people would claim that it was more powerful in some ways than its predecessor and perhaps they’d be right…in some ways…
