  PLEASE HELP !!! SFX IN AFTER EFFECTS

  Hi, i’m making a horror film at college and i want to create the effect of a hand holding a knife smashing through a glass window. I thought of using the ‘shatter’ effect that comes with after effects.

  I have filmed a hand holding a knife thrusting forward on a green screen, and now just need help and advice on making it smash through the window.

  I have some understanding of using after effects and using this shatter effects thanks to Andrew Kramer.

  Can anyone help PLEASE.

  I always thought SFX meant “sound effects”.
