  • copying keyframes from mask to brush position write-on

I’m working with the Write-on option for making a ‘signature’-effect, but every time I make a mask and copy the keyframes in de brushposition setting of the write-on effect, they are a little bit ‘out of place’. This means that I have to ajust them keyframe per keyframe.

    How can I ajusted that?

    Thanks!

Are you making the mask in one layer and pasting to another? If so and they are different sizes or aspect ratio you’ll have problems. You should be able to copy the mask (not shape ) to the new layer, double click any point on the mask to get a transform box and re-size that way (Shift and Ctrl, I think, give proportional resizing as you drag). If you set mask to none you can see everything fine. Then copy/paste that mask shape on the same layer to the write-on position.

Otherwise try Stroke, it will climb onto the mask.
