  AE CS3 won’t open!

  Hello all, my copy of after effects CS3 isn’t opening! Whenever I try to open it, the license agreement is brought up. I say that I accept the license agreement and then the license agreement screen disappears and nothing happens. Any insights as to what the problem here is? Thanks everyone,

  This is my first post …

  Just today, I am getting this similar message

  Says KEY REQUIRED
  “The security key for this program currently stored on your system does not appear to be valid for this version of the program. Select Yes to enter a new key, or No to revert to the default setting (if any).”

  Next is ENTER KEY..

  Name:
  Key:

  Possibly it is a plugin demo or something. Uninstalled/reinstalled everything but nothing. Seems to hang up when it is initializing the Media Core when the purple title/credits box opens on startup.

  Have Googled and searched everywhere. Help.. Thanks.

  I unistalled Cineform to stop getting the error. Cineform registration had become disconnected from my registry and caused this. I had to get a new key from Cineform to fix the problem. The ultimate problem was Norton Internet Security faulty install and has been the basis for many, if not all, of my instability problems but it’s working now.
