If nothing else, thanks for the link-it was a great short!

If you are trying to whip a camera around-as in the end credits, then YES you will need to add keyframes for every move to a new position. The slight jiggle the camera does at each position can be done with the wriggler-so you don’t need to add keybrames for that.

    Hope this helps,

can u refer me to somewhere that talks about this “wriggler” thankyou.

and thanks, just thought their might be an easy way.

    *goes back to work*

and if your interested ,that was made at the talented french school gobelins (www.gobelins.fr),on the animation course obviously, its hard to believe its student work.Everytime i post a question in this forum i’ll probably be referring to them in some way since they are a big inspiraton.

    thanks again.

Here’s a link to one Wiggler tutorial. There are about 6 more that you can easily find by searching in the tutorial section of the cow.
    https://library.creativecow.net/articles/tierney_jim/wiggler.php
Actually, you’re not creating that many keyframes; one for your starting position-copy and past for the end position (add a wiggle for the middle); new keyframe for the new position start-copy and paste for the end position (wiggle in the middle); etc, etc. Even for 3 different positions, it’s only 6 keyframes-and half are a copy of the first? 3 new keyframes. Doesn’t sound like much to me?

That’s amazing that the movie was a student project.

    Cheers,
