Not sure how ‘basic’ this stuff is, but bare with me.

Hi everybody, creativecow leaders, etc. 😛

I’ve been learning the, i guess, basic-intermediate interface of After Effects lately and I want to hit matchmoving! 🙂

I have 3D Studio MAX 7 and After Effects CS3, I can’t find any tutorials apart from one on youtube with a narrator whom has a very strong asian accent (?) making it quite difficult to understand, not to mention I don’t even have the programs he is using.

So could somebody direct me to somewhere I could learn, or maybe even give me the basic rundown right here 🙂

Question – Is it possible to import a 3d Model Directly to After Effects and be able to “Pan” around it with a camera?

    Thank you,

    Pat

    For the tutorial problem.

1.) There is a ton of after effect tutorials on this site. You can also find 3d studio tutorials on sites like https://www.3dtotal.com/
2.) Just spend a little time looking online, google it – After effect tutorials, 3d studio max tutorials.
    3.) Books and magazines, don

Thank you for your pretty fast reply

    :):)

I guess i’ll start to have a look at some more of these tutorials on this site for Motion Graphics or something as closely related to MatchMoving or Expressions as I can get it, then hit Amazon.

    Cheers.
