  HELP: Photoshop to After Effects integration

  What is the best way to prepare files in photoshop to be brought into after effects. 72dp at 720×480? I am in the process of animating my print files that are large. Artwork is now 5×5 inches at 300 dpi. I noticed that 72dpi at 720×480 is really small. Is this the case or can I design slightly bigger? Any advice would be great.

  it’s probably easiest to work in a square pixel aspect ratio in photoshop, ae handles the conversion to non-square quite well. so if you want your images to fill the screen, 720×540 would be a good size to work in. you can make them larger if you wanted to pan, zoom, etc. the images in ae.
