  10 most important needs for FCPX

  For me to take FCPX seriously, I have listed 10 needed features :

  1. Reconnect to off-line media “manually”
  2. Ability to normally save both Events and Project to a networked drive (not only XSan)
  3. Import old FCP projects
  4. Keyframing of color adjustments
  5. Copy (or drag) Individual effects, masks and properties from one clip to another (pasting now overwrites existing)
  6. More flexible adjustments of project properties (is locked to few options and cannot change after creation)
  7. Possibility to off-line unneeded Events and Projects from within the software
  8. Multi track editing
  9. Proper support for external video monitoring
  10. Flexible Export options as in QT export

  – No Parking Production –

  2 x Finalcut Studio3, 2 x MacPro, 2 x ioHD, File Server w. X-Raid
  …. and FCPX in the garbage bin
