  To use motion blur or field interlacing?

  I create something in AE and bring it into a FCP sequence that uses interlaced settings. Should I export out of AE with interlacing so it matches what’s going in in my FCP sequence? Does it matter, since the sequence will render it as interlaced?

  I basically want the motion to appear smooth. Would motion blur do the same thing for me?
