Is there a way to create scrolling text in AE 7.0? This is for a FCP project. When I created the text in FCP, the text flickers as it is scrolling up, looks real bad. I am trying to find a way around this.

the trick is to have the credit roll move in whole pixels (even whole pixels if interlaced).

dave laronde gave a great explanation of how to calculate a move to accomplish this in the ae forum. i created a expression based on his explanation, and posted it as a downloadable preset for ae 6.5 and above.

you can get it here: http://www.mercuryjones.com/aepresets.html… its called flickerfree credit roll. there is also link to dave’s explanation, its worth reading.
