    I am VERY new with AF can someone help???
    I have seen a video with many video & still pic. floating in 3D space. Then the cam. fly’s to different ones stops for about 4 or 5 sec. then
    back off and fly’s to another. Does this many times. I have heard this
    can be done in AF 7 but have no clue how & can’t find any TUTS for this.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!

    you just need to make a layer 3d by clicking the 3d button for the layer in the timeline. you can then postion the layer in z space. once you postion several layers in z space you can add a camera and animate the camera ‘flying’ through z space or bring you comp with the 3d layers into a new comp, enable 3d and continuous rasterization (button near 3d button, looks like a sun) and then animate that comp’s position to create a similar effect.

    if you want a lot of 3d layers, there are plugins and workflows that will help.

    he has several tutorials that ‘fly through’ 3d layers, and most of them use plugins that come with ae pro.
