  • copy a comp from one project into another?

I’ve got two projects already started. There is a comp in the first project that I’d like to copy into the second project. But I don’t know how to do it. Is it possible? how to do it?

Or am I forced to recreating the comp (I’m trying to save 30 minutes now. although, i’m sure i’ll want to do this again sometime.)

Import the other project as though it were a clip. It will create a folder in the project pane containing the compositions.

Dave… never start a comment with “Easy”, especially with your recommended answer. Th e proper method is very dependent on the size of the project. With my current project that would take hours to narrow down the project size and the chance of deleting something that was associated with a pre-comp is very high.

I believe there is a script that can solve this but I’ve yet to find it. Any other thoughts on this questions? Possible ways to duplicate and reduce duplicate files.
