  • Posted by Graham Dickinson on July 13, 2011 at 6:21 pm

I need a clip I shot hand held to be stabilized. FCP 7 had a feature that smoothed it out so well you would swear it was on sticks. I’m trying to do the same thing with the same clip in FCPX. Does anyone know if FCPX has that feature? If so, where is it? Thanks!

Yes- try reimporting a clip from the finder. You’ll have the options to analyze for stabilization and other stuff.

Shouldn’t have to do that even! There is an option under the “inspector” to click for analyzing and stabilization (even a box for rolling shutter) You can do this on import, or after-the-fact, if you like. Not bad.
