I’ve been through the manual but I can’t seem to figure out how to shatter something along a plane. It seems as if the shatter always occurs in a ‘sphere’ or outwards.

I have an animation of a glass block falling backwards to the ground and I’m wanting to add the shatter effect once the block is down but it always throws the shards ‘up’ no matter what I try.

The Gravitational direction and strength seem to have something to do with it but I can’t seem to get the right settings to just make the pieces spread out along the horizon line.

I’ve tried moving a camera to get a different angle, but the pieces still come ‘at’ you.

    Any tips?
