  Stabalize

  I have an interview project due next week, and the footage i have is very shaky. How can i stabalize this motion to make it look better?

  help menu; type ‘stabilize’… it will describe how to use motion tracking to stabilize your footage

  Everything i have tried has just ended up making the shake worse. I chose a stationary object, that was a different color, and it basically looks like the cameraman had a seizure while holding the camera.

  Any input?

  P.S. did try using easy ease keyframes.

  If you can afford Apple Shake, it does this with amazing results.

  The problem with that is i have no authority to buy anything here at school. However i’ll keep that product in mind if i end up getting AE at my house though.

  Edmond,
  AE has a great stabilizer, you just don’t understand how to use it.

  Here’s a tutorial by Andrew Kramer, he shows exactly how to use AE stabilizer.
