Product placement in jeopardy?
I wonder how much kudos Apple gets from having its products appear prominently in movies and on TV? and how that transfers into actual sales as people get brainwashed into thinking the cool people use Apple?
Now considering how many people involved in the creation of those shows and films are tearing their hair out and chewing off the ends of their fingers after trying to get to grips with Apples latest stab at world domination… what are the chances we will see a dramatic drop in the strategically placed apple goodies?
I think Apple may have just damaged a huge area of product promotion.
Ironic, really when you consider that Post-production & Broadcast are all about communicating. Its that simple, and its something that Apple have forgotten how to do, just around the same time that Avid sat up and started to listen!
Interesting times are afoot!
