Removing the flicker from digital clock
Any ideas on how to remove the flickering from a digital clock in close-up. My footage is in DVCPRO50.
What if I simply loop a single frame, say, the brightest frame I can find? What will that look like projected on a big screen? Will it look like a single frame looped (like a freeze frame) or will it look like a plain close up shot as if the camera were running?
Back in my 16mm days, it was ill-advised to loop a single frame in post. Had to keep the grain moving, even in a freeze frame. Is there such a thing as “pixel movement”, however subtle, that would betray the loop? I’m new to video, obviously.
Warm regards,
Serge
