  iMovie posterization exporting project: FCP X will solve this?

  Hi all,

  I usually use iMovie ’11 for my little movie projects, but I’m really bored by unwanted posterization in exported video files. All the shadows and color gradients look very degraded. Also HQ still images that I obtained with a reflex cam look degraded after export and also in the full screen preview in iMovie. I’m really disappointed about this. I tried all things, changing export options an everything else, but nothing worked. In many forums I read other users are having the same trouble. I finally think that this is a bug of iMovie.

  Now the question is: will FCP X have the same posterization problem while exporting or it will solve all my troubles?
