Hi guys , im new here and also a bit new to after effects , here is my question : i would like to create an animation which based on videos that i filmed – and i want the animation to include part that the running time of the video changes – in other words – im looking for an option to change the velocity of video parts .

you mean like speeding up and slowing down footage??

you would want to use “time remapping” or “time stretch” or AE7 has a few more options for time ramping. If you have a bit of a search around the COW archives, google and the AE help files I’m sure there is some info and tutorials out there.

Give that a go and then if you have any more specific questions don’t hesitiate to ask!

    Cheers
