Reminds me of an interview I read of a guy who wrote tag lines for movies. He said the best he ever got paid was for writing the tag line to “Hud”. The poster said Paul Newman … is … Hud.
He got paid a few hundred bucks for writing the word “is.”

When you click on a manual, you get online help. It would be nice if there is a downloadable PDF. The workaround I used: In the upper right hand corner, click on the printer icon and select: Book – Final Cut Pro Help. Instead of my printer, I selected Bull Zip printer, which is a utility to print to PDF. I now have a PDF file which I will sync to my iPad.
There are PDF files for Motion 5 and Compressor 4. Click on their links, and online help opens. Then click the link at the top of the left margin index for the User Manual, then either open with Acrobat Reader or save as a PDF.
