  Lighting solids

  As a newbie, I have created a solid and applied spotlights but there then appears “contour” looking lines that shift as the light source is moved. Can anyone help please?

  maybe you are refering to “colour banding”? this is espicially obvious with certain colours, like blue.

  do a search of the COW archives for “banding” and you will find a number of ways to reduce or eliminate it. Hope this helps….if it’s not banding see if you can do a screenshot and post it up.
