Hi everybody, just a newbie question:
I’m in video-mode with a 5D mark III and an auto-focus lens. I’d like to know if it’s possible to set the camera in order to focus automatically the central region while I’m using a glidecam (or any stabilizer that keeps my hands busy).
    Is it possible?
    Thanks

no, the mk3 is too old for that!

you can, however, if you install “magic lantern” focus with the little jog wheel (controls motors) and set certain focus points where the servos would go to with the press of a button.

but no, no automatic focus! you would need a newer model.
