  Canon EOS Rebel T5i – No option to change aspect ratio

  Somehow my Canon T5i was set to a 3:2 aspect ratio, and now there is no menu item that allows me to change it back to 16:9. I tried to “Register to My Menu” the option to change my aspect ratio, but then it shows up but is greyed out on 3:2.

  I installed Cinestyle awhile back, so that might have something to do with it. However, even when switching to a different picture style, the aspect ratio still is at 3:2.

  Are you in Movie mode or still mode when you try to change aspect ratio. You should be in movie mode.

  Yep – I am in Movie mode.

  In movie mode you can’t change the aspect ratio. You can only shoot 16:9 in movie mode, either 1280×720 or 1920×1080. Those are both 16:9 ratios.
