  Can i assign a button on the C100 to record?

  Reason why is i want to use this on the glidecam 2000. i put a rode video mic on top instead of the handle. I want to remove the grip. Once i get my exposure and everything correct i want to take it off. Any help soon would be appreciated. I have it through the canon loan so only 6 more days. I with they had the C100 mk11 but ill settle for the C100 with the Dual Pixel CMOS AF Upgrade.
