  5DmkIII Battery Life issue with Atomos Ninja 2

  Presently I’m using the 5DmkIII for underwater video with the Atomos Ninja 2 and wanted to hear others experience with the cameras battery life when doing so.

  On a fully charged battery I’m getting about 35 to 40 minutes operational time when filming about 30 minutes worth of footage. This seems terribly short considering that filming straight to camera gets me more than twice this.

  My LCD is switched to mirror and off (its not being used when the Ninja 2 is connected).

  Is anyone else experiencing short battery life when using Ninja 2 / Samurai?
