  5D MKii won’t output HDMI to Ikan monitor

  Hi All,
  All I get on my Ikan is a blue screen. I do have picture on the 5D, and I’m assuming that screen should turn off, correct? Can’t seem to find info on this anywhere else. Is there a setting I need to switch?

  Hard to tell without specifics But here is my suggestion: Check that your HDMI wire is properly plugged in and or working properly or just get a new one as they tend to break internally.

  My apologies for not closing this thread…skilled workman that I am, I didn’t try restarting the camera. That, eventually, did the trick!

  Hi, It sounds to me like the HDMI you are using might be bad, I would try a new one.
  Let me know if that helps.
