  grandient & gradient ramp

  hi, i’m a begginer in adobe after effects.
  how can i make a gradient or a gradient ramp, and how can i animate this gradient?
  i have been searching for it and can’t found nothing about.
  can you help me?

  create a solid. Apply effect “Generate -> Ramp” – then you can animate the start and end positions.

  OR

  you could create a solid(ctrl-y), draw a mask(q), feather the mask(f), then animate the mask shape(m)
