  Canon DSLR for seminar video, wedding video, etc.

  Hi,
  Looking into buying a 5d or 7d to add to my kit, I understand a lot of video guys are moving that way. My question is, I have heard that they are limited in the amount of continuous footage they can capture, and I am wondering if any one out there is using DSLRs to shoot extended length video footage at weddings, corporate meetings, etc.
  If so, how do they work around the short continuous shooting time?
