  low level format vs format?

  what’s the difference between these two ? I also have magic lantern on my card, I know formatting will get rid of magic lantern but will low level format get rid of it also?

  A low level format is an in-camera format. It will not erase magic lantern. A high level format is when you wipe your card on your computer.
