CAMERA: , I have been looking into a Canon 60D for shooting DSLR videos, unless anyone here can suggest a better DSLR camera for ? or mention the range above and below.

Lens , I have pondered on which lens to get, so far with the 60D, its going to be my first DSLR and i plan to learn allot from it, im going to shoot allot of green screen, open fields, so to me it seems the 18-200 lens offers some wide yet versatile possibilities., again if anyone can suggest a more versatile lens please do.

tripod I am clueless on which tripod i should get.

Lights, I have been looking for a soft continues light set up on ebay, cheapest i can get since i will only shoot green screen indoors, i have green-screen mo-slin sheets already and paint for chroma keying.

What else should i add to this set up (light test meters, vivid lens etc)

The space i have to shoot is about 12x12x12x11feet tall, i already tried shooting with those horrible garage holigan lights, way too yellowish.

I am basically asking which camera, lens, light set up out there looks best and is most versatile for the price, if there is better then the 60D please do mention it and why.

    Thanks
    J

A Canon 5dMKii fanatic (says) with a 18-200 lens can do the job better then video cams in the same price range, but that’s his opinion and since you technically nailed it i wanted to ask you if blue screen makes a difference with the camera?

enjoying my europeen vacation here, nice sunset today, you seem like the right person to ask about this, networks and all, what you think was used on this video?

looks like a Video Camera, but older, 2ccd i bet, hi 8, im guessing.
