    Hello everyone
I am new to this site and I thank all in advance for any help

    My question is,
I just shot a music video with 7 different angles on my Canon 7D and used Log and Transfer in Final Cut Pro and when I go to do multi-clip it just chokes the computer!!! I have a brand new Mac Book Pro with 16 gig of ram fully loaded and it still chokes even with 2 cameras in multi-clip.

    Any help with this?

    Thanks so much..

    Two things.

1 make sure you transcode your footage to a proper editing format before you start to edit.
2 for 7 streams of video you are going to need a FAST taid to handle playing back that many streams of video at once.

    **Hindsight is always 1080p**

Log and transfer should conform the footage without needing to transcode the clips.

Not sure what the issue is. You might want to post this on the Final Cut forum.
