Editing Canon EOS 5D footage in Premier Pro
Hi
I was wondering if someone can help me.
I shot a couple of projects with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I have converted the mov files to AVI with Cineforms Neocene. I was wondering what would be the ideal sequence preset to use in Premier PRo. The footage was shot in NTSC.
At the moment I am using DV-NTSC Standard 48Khz. In the field option should I leave it as lower field or change it to progressive. The finished product will be an NTSC DVD.
I created a Sequence with progressive. I then created a trailer for my project and exported it as a WMV file. First I chose not to interlace the footage and it came out really bad. Then I chose to interlace it and it came out ok. But their is a flicker on the background throughout the footage.
I cant see what may be causing this issue. Your help and suggestions is much appreciated.
