    Hi,
I typed my credits in photoshop, imported them into a 30 frame after effects composition, made them scroll, exported them as a 30 frame quicktime file, and imported them into avid. They are not totally clear and crisp – looks like a video interlace problem. I tried using the after effects reduce video de-interlace flicker filter and the vertical blurr filter, neither of which seemed to solve the problem. I also tried making a 24 frame project and doing a pull-down when I exported to the quicktime. No luck with that either. Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Lucia6

So is your desired frame rate 24?

Make sure your composition settings and export settings are all set to progressive rather than interlaced, and to your desired frame rate.

oh oh, IO know all about this… first off .. you should do the credits in Illistrator not photoshop.. secondly add this expression to the to the position value, [value[0], Math.floor(value[1]}]

you add an expression in the animate pull down menu add this to the position value it will stabalize the movement.. also … use the number keys to change position in the first place…

All I have been doing for months is making credit rolls…

My avid project is 30 frames. Why illustrator not photoshop? And I don’t understand exactly the expression you are recommending – could you explain a little more thoroughly for an after effects beginner?
    Thanks!

Ilistrator is vector based not raster this allows you to find the proper size for your credit roll… more eaily since it is based on geometry and not pixels … plus illistrator just handles type settings and leading and kerning more effeciantly ..

okay and as far as the expression goes…
