Okay Ive been trying to think of an easy way to do this – I can do it in photoshop. So if I have to animate the entire piece by hand – so be it.
But I was hoping there was a tutorial for making grunged video. Not text – but a layer overlaid on the video.

    https://www.sftcministries.com/
I did the site design – so photoshoping grunge is easy.
The intro video was done in vegas – but I want more than just film grain.
What I am looking for is something more like this video from Hillsongs:

See all the black animation around the edges?

Can someone point me in direction of tutorial – or .aep file.
Ive scoured google for tutorials etc and the best I could find was grunge text noting on animating it etc.

Are there any plugins available which can do this – I think that boris can but I dont want to plop hundreds and hundreds of clams down for one effect.

    Thanks in advance

Things you might want to play around with are:
    Burn Film
    Roughen Edges
    Fractal Noise

Or maybe shoot some hand-held random crap. Run some filters on it, up the contrast, maybe invert it, add a solid white layer on top of it, masked with heavily feathered edges, so we only really see the outside edge. Then add an adjustment layer and up the contrast then blur. Take that composition and layer it on top in darken mode.
