Very excited to be releasing this DVD! This is a real world exploration of location lighting and shooting, with particular emphasis on setting up, lighting, and shooting interviews. We start with the fundamentals, the three properties of light and how to control them. Then move into scouting the location, shot composition, camera placement, the relationship between the camera, subject, & interviewer, how to control depth of field, key, fill and back light placement and control, background lighting, and finally shooting the interview. In between we cover everything from makeup to dealing with glasses. We created this DVD to be relevant no matter what format you are shooting on – whether it be a professional broadcast camera, DSLR, RED, or a prosumer camera. This material is golden, culled from over twenty years experience shooing literally hundreds of interviews for television and corporate clients ranging from ESPN to Oprah.
“Lighting and Shooting Gorgeous Interviews” is a DVD ROM – so that you can watch on your computer – whether Mac or PC anywhere in the world. We also added a couple of bonus PDF files.

Tom – I received my copy. At first glance it looks like it will be a great resource for years to come. All I need now is time to watch it!
Does the Creative COW sell a Time-Turner pendant? That would be very handy.
